Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about experiences, interpretations, privacy, and using Another Meaning.

General

Another Meaning is a private-first platform for recording and reflecting on Experiences: dreams, real-life events, and dilemmas. Interpretations remain grounded in the submitted source, while Stories are separate author-directed fiction in which invention and fantasy are normal.

The system reads the exact Experience you submitted and offers one possible meaning grounded in that source. It does not diagnose you, deliver a verdict or prediction, or invent facts and motives about you or another person. An interpretation is AI-assisted and is not an established fact or professional conclusion.

A Story is a creative work directed by its author. The model may invent scenarios, characters, worlds, and fantasy, and selected Experience material may inspire that fiction without becoming Story canon automatically. Real people and private situations should be transformed or distanced; invented claims are not presented as truth about them.

Another Meaning currently supports English and Bulgarian. Experiences, interpretations, eligible conversation elements, Stories, and public reading surfaces follow the available translation lifecycle for these two languages. No additional language is promised before it is implemented and available.

Billing

Yes. The Free plan provides the complete first interpretation of an Experience with the same interpretation quality as paid plans. Current allowances, the Weaver trial, and the additional creative capabilities of Dreamer and Weaver are shown on the Plans page.

A plan change does not delete your existing private Experiences, interpretations, Stories, or their saved history. You keep read, export, and deletion access, while new paid actions follow the capabilities and allowances of your current plan. Ordinary privacy, retention, and account-deletion rules still apply.

Privacy

Yes. Experiences, interpretations, clarifications, and Story Projects are private by default. Publishing is always a separate choice. Before an Experience becomes public, you review the exact selected presentation and give the required consent; nothing from the private conversation is added silently.

Technical

Another Meaning may use external AI providers selected separately for interpretation, translation, editorial work, and Story generation. The application enforces privacy, consent, output validation, quotas, and failure handling around those providers. Technical provider and model identifiers are not a user-facing quality tier.
